Custom fonts functionality allows you to upload non-Google fonts into the CMS for using them in your applications.
To add a Custom Font
You'll need to prep your font files prior to importing them into the CultureConnect CMS.
1. Collect your font files including all of the weights and variations, for example italics. These files will likely be in OTF or TTF format.
Note: in all stocks where fonts are sold, there are two loading options:
- Desktop Font
- WebFont
It is important to choose a Web font and check for a file with the extension .css in the zip archive, otherwise, custom fonts will not work.
2. Open Tranfonter website.
3. Click Add Fonts button on top left to upload your collection of font files. When the upload has finished, all of the individual font files will display a green line to confirm a successful upload.
4. Click Convert button. Once the files have been converted, select Download to download the font zip file to your computer.
5. Return to the CultureConnect CMS.
6. Here, navigate to the App Customization -- > Basic.
6. Scroll down the page to the Fonts Setting section.
7. In the Custom Fonts tab, click the + to upload the font Zip file.
8. Click Submit button to save changes.
Now the uploaded Custom Font is available in all Text Editors across the CMS.
Correct transfonter settings to make the converted font work correctly
IMPORTANT: if the Custom font is deleted from the CMS, content to which it was applied in the app automatically resets to the default CMS font.
